Scientists call giant bamboo a “dream tree.”
KING-5 News (June 26, 2012) Imagine a tree that can grow a hundred feet tall, be cut down to make paper pulp, and then re-grow itself to its full size in 45 days. Foresters call that a dream tree, but a Western Washington scientist calls it giant bamboo.
